Aims

To promote the opening of a new Askoll flagship store in Milan, the first and only player in “a hundred percent made in Italy” sustainable mobility through the press and bloggers of the sector.

Strategy

Using an open-day format guests were given the opportunity to test ride a pedal assisted bicycle and/or electric scooter starting from the store in order to facilitate participation in the event.

Activities

  • Invitation to journalists and bloggers in Milan, who are active in brand-related areas (environment, automotive, lifestyle, cycling, innovation, etc)
  • Assistance and on-site management of journalists
  • Follow-up after the event

Results

  • 64 journalists/bloggers attended the inauguration, including contact people from media, such as: Panorama, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Class, Vanity Fair, LifeGate, Il Giorno, Il Sole 24 Ore, In Sella e Due Ruote
  • One guest out of three tried the pedal assisted bike and/or electric scooter
