With the goal of positioning Gi Group on Web 2.0 platforms, YouTube was chosen as a medium to leverage on in order to reach the target candidates through an innovative channel.
Competence supported Gi Group in the planning and implementation of a mini-series made up of 4 viral videos, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes each, dedicated to how to approach a job interview. The series was first broadcast on March 21st, 2011.
The contents – “Job-hunting is a job”, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”, “We’re here” and “The interview” - were shot in a sitcom style and given an ironic spin. They tell the story of the protagonist who, struggling with the different phases of approaching a job, makes one reflect on and smile at the common errors to be avoided and gives an insight into the most efficient behaviours to adopt.
Videos reached more than 15,000 views on YouTube.
