Aims

To launch “Gun”, a videogame set in the far west, in the Italian market. To reiterate the importance of Activision within the gaming market.

Strategy

  • Recreate a western village in Milan to highlight the meticulous reproduction of the environments, actions and the characters in the videogame
  • Leverage on Hollywood screenwriter, Randall Jahnson, author of the plot

Activities

  • Press materials
  • Organization, management and coordination of suppliers (poker players, can-can dancers, extras, cowboys and shows, vintage clothes, western-style locations)
  • Production of merchandise: free drinks, poker chips, electronic and paper invites
  • Coordination of the guests and management of the invited journalists

Results

Around 100 took part in the event.
Coverage in the main specialized and general publications, amongst which: TGM, GMC, Leonardo.it, Ciak, TGCom, Dipiù, PSM and Playstation Magazine.
